The Two Thousand Year Invasion destroyed everything... except for a select few. These people came together in the center of the New World, selected a leader, and chose to start over. But now, a hundred+ years later, the Duke of Dorlea has died and decided that a game could pick the new leader of the most powerful city in the New World.
A man has to be either a genius or insane to let some foolish game decide the future, but that's how it is and no one can change it. Everyone from 10 to 200 can play the game; they just have to be brave, witty, and ambitious.
If you could win power of this magnitude wouldn't you try?

THE BOILER ROOM
The Boiler Room was once a, well, boiler room. For an old laundromat, of course. The owners found the location, which was close to several important landmarks, and gutted the place. Now it is a small in front, big in back, diner that serves some rather odd dishes. Nonetheless, it's the best place to eat in Dorlea.

FIRST AID
First Aid is the only certified clinic in Dorlea. There are a few undergrounds clinics, but you can't guarantee they won't cut your arm off to fix a scratch. At First Aid you're guaranteed to retain all your limbs...unless you sprout a third arm.

NIFTY THRIFTY
The Nifty Thrifty is a fantastic general store that stocks all the latest and greatest inventions of the New World. You can also buy food, water, clothing, and some Old World antiques if you have the Pop Tabs to drop.

THE CHURCH OF CALM WATERS
In this large, old church a handful of people gather to worship an ideal. That ideal being safe and calm water. It might seem a little strange, but everyone has to have some sort of faith, right? These people just so happen to have faith in a constant: water.

THE DIRTY MUG
A very popular bar in Dorlea and the best place to gather the latest gossip, too. The Dirty Mug is known for it's friendly, if a little violent, clientele and it's very cheap spirits. A couple of Mello*Hi tabs and you can get your drunk on.

DESOLATE HOUSE
Let's face it, we're not all rolling in the tabs. Anywhere is better than sleeping on the unreliable streets, but the Desolate House takes this a bit further. They offer food, water, and shelter to the poor for very little in return. If you need a place to crash then pick the Desolate House.

THE ARMORY
The armory is guarded by lawmen for obvious reasons. Not everyone is allowed a gun, because guns cause more problems than they solve. One has to has a permit to carry a weapon. That doesn't mean you can't try to steal weapons or find your own in the Ruins.

THE LEAKY FAUCET
The new world's only water treatment plant as they are difficult to build and maintain. The plant also bottles water and ships it to the smaller towns in the region.

THE DUKE'S MANSION
Obviously the nicest house in all of Dorlea, though that doesn't say a whole lot since most houses are pretty crappy. However, the inside is what counts, really. There are several bedrooms, a huge dining room and kitchen, several dens, a meeting room, and a huge library with a ton of old world books.
